My dream as a child was to leave one day for Canada.
In 1972, I met in the depths of the Valley Ferret,
wandering and in the mighty nature, the Director of
Banff Springs Hotel, Mister Yvor Petrak.
It was an exceptional moment, I took advantage of
telling him my desire to visit the Rocheuses
canadiennes.
So that he facilitated the processing steps for the
visa. A year later after this encounter, I found myself
in a marvellous paradise of wild nature. As being
passionate about fauna and flora, I couldn’t ask for
more. It was the complete apotheosis. I was dreaming.
In my spare moments, the encounter of stags, bears,
deers, bighorns and so on, became extraordinary moments.
I would spend 4 to 5 days a week chasing cervids, birds
of prey. What a fabulous winter!
Also, the wonderful encounters with the Out Atlantic
population.
Two years went by. A great dream as a child had just
been accomplished. |
