What I can say about Canada, it is a country which has
always attracted me. In competition I already used to
like going to the Northern-American round, not only in
order to sort out the last adjustments, but also for its
landscapes as well as its rather particular atmosphere.
I also liked the contact with the Canadians who I have
always found very welcoming.
As for me Canada, it is also the souvenir of my first
victory in the world cup.And the first tastes
particularly. I mostly liked the landscapes, the forest,
this Impression of freedom considering it is so huge …
I always dreamt, in the corner of my heart, to be able
one day, to find a peaceful corner by the lake…
And so did this dream take shape, it did even become
real. I was able to build my “house in Canada” in a
wonderful and peaceful place. With my family, we have
got our house made out of round wood, by the lake. In
short, our little piece of paradise… Moreover, we
bounded to become friends with François, (the initiator
of the inhabited Forest of Matawinie) and our builder,
Peter, who became for us, more than just collaborators!
In short, there would be so much left to say!
I’d also love to share with you a part of this dream.
